COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this course, students will explore the Arabic alphabet, focusing on learning the shapes and sounds of letters from Alif to Dhad. They will practice pronunciation and writing, with a particular emphasis on mastering short vowels. By the end of this section, students will confidently recognize and produce these letters in both speech and writing.

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certification from Bis School, recognizing their proficiency in the foundational Arabic alphabet and basic pronunciation skills. This certificate will validate their ability to read and write Arabic letters from Alif to Dhad. It’s an excellent stepping stone for further language mastery and academic or professional advancement.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The first lesson is free, and the course runs for 12 weeks, with one-hour lectures held weekly. Designed for students over 10 years old, this 12-lecture course offers a comprehensive introduction to the Arabic language.

Mastery of the Arabic Alphabet: Students will confidently recognize and write the letters from Alif to Dhad.
Understanding Short Vowels: Students will learn how to correctly pronounce and apply short vowels in Arabic.
Pronunciation Proficiency: Learners will be able to accurately pronounce Arabic letters and sounds.
Basic Writing Skills: Students will develop the ability to write Arabic letters in their various forms depending on their position in words.
Letter Differentiation: Learners will distinguish between similar-looking letters and understand their unique sounds.

Arabic Reading Basics: Learners will gain the skills to read basic Arabic text involving the letters from Alif to Dhad.
